The World Championships - 2021 will be held in Helsinki

On Friday, November 19, 2021, the official training sessions of the participating teams of the Championship, the World Championship and the International tournament will take place.

The competitions will be held on November 20-21, 2021.

On Saturday, November 20, the preliminary competitions of the World Championships and the Junior World Championships will take place, and on November 21 — the final competitions of the leaders of the world aesthetic gymnastics, which will end with an award ceremony.

In addition, the preliminary and final competitions of the International Tournament "IFAGG Trophy 2021" will be held on Sunday.

Due to the current epidemiological situation in the world, teams from some countries, including Japan, some teams from Ukraine, Bulgaria and Kazakhstan will not participate in the competitions. Total number of participants in the competition:

- World Championships — 29 groups;
- Junior World Championships — 22 groups;
- International tournament "IFAGG Trophy 2021" — 11 groups.

The Finnish broadcasting company "Yle" plans to conduct a live broadcast of the competitions of the preliminary and final competitions of the World Championships and the Junior World Championships. The link will be published on the event's website and on the event's Facebook page.

IFAGG has decided to extend the number of finalist teams in World Cup and Challenge Cup competitions. Based on ranking after preliminaries, 12 best teams will qualify for finals, but maximum two (2) teams from the same country.
The first AGG World Championship was held in Helsinki (Finland) in 2000. The first World Champion became the team "Campuksen Koonto" (Finland).
