World Cup and Challenge Cup system

Ranking points in World Cup and Challenge Cup competitions

During year 2021 World Cup and Challenge Cup ranking points will be not given. All World Cup and Challenge Cup competitions will be separate, individual competitions. There will be normal evaluation and results from competition, but ranking points will be not collected. Final result of each competition will counted as normally form preliminary and final competition score.

Ranking points in World Cup and Challenge Cup competitions

There will be four (4) partial World Cup and Challenge Cup (for junior teams) competitions, where teams can earn ranking points for Word Cup final ranking 2020 and Challenge Cup final ranking 2020.
Final ranking will be counted from the total sum of three (3) best results (points) of team from four (4) competitions during season 2020.

Ranking point will be given for teams in every World Cup and Challenge Cup (for juniors) after final result (total points) of competition (preliminaries points and finals points). In World Cup and Challenge Cup Final competition points will be given 1,5 time normal ranking points.

Rank first (1.) of competition gets 12 WC / CC points
Rank second (2.) of competition gets 11 WC / CC points
Rank third (3.) of competition gets 10 WC / CC points
Rank fourth (4.) of competition gets 9 WC / CC points
Rank fifth (5.) of competition gets 8 WC / CC points
Rank sixth (6.) of competition gets 7 WC / CC points
Rank seventh (7.) of competition gets 6 WC / CC points
Rank eighth (8.) of competition gets 5 WC / CC points
Rank ninth (9.) of competition gets 4 WC / CC points
Rank tenth (10.) of competition gets 3 WC / CC points
Rank eleventh (11.) of competition gets 2 WC / CC points
Rank twelfth (12.) of competition gets 1 WC / CC points

Ranking points in World Cup Final and Challenge Cup Final competitions:

Rank first (1.) of competition gets 18 WCF / CCF points
Rank second (2.) of competition gets 16,5 WCF / CCF points
Rank third (3.) of competition gets 15 WCF / CCF points
Rank fourth (4.) of competition gets 13,5 WCF / CCF points
Rank fifth (5.) of competition gets 12 WCF / CCF points
Rank sixth (6.) of competition gets 10,5 WCF / CCF points
Rank seventh (7.) of competition gets 9 WCF / CCF points
Rank eighth (8.) of competition gets 7,5 WCF / CCF points
Rank ninth (9.) of competition gets 6 WCF / CCF points
Rank tenth (10.) of competition gets 4,5 WCF / CCF points
Rank eleventh (11.) of competition gets 3 WCF / CCF points
Rank twelfth (12.) of competition gets 1,5 WCF / CCF point

Number of finalist teams

IFAGG has decided to extend the number of finalist teams in World Cup and Challenge Cup competitions. Based on ranking after preliminaries, 12 best teams will qualify for finals, but maximum two (2) teams from the same country.
A competitive group consists of 6 to 10 gymnasts. Teamwork and unity are essential. Choreography using expressive interpretation of music through movements creates a story.
The first AGG World Championship was held in Helsinki (Finland) in 2000. The first World Champion became the team "Campuksen Koonto" (Finland).
Team "GC Janika" (Estonia) - The World Champion in AGG in 2007.
