First judging course for AGG in Africa

For the first time in Africa, IFAGG organised a judging course for aesthetic group gymnastics. It was attended by 19 coaches from different clubs in Egypt. The course was organized by Athletic Academy in Cairo.

The opening event was attended by sports officials, coaches and parents of gymnasts from Egypt.

EUSA student competitions in AGG. Only EUSA flag can be raised and EUSA anthem (Gaudeamus Igitur) can be played during the awards ceremony. Athletes are not allowed to bring any national, political, cultural or religious symbols or slogans to the podium.
The first AGG World Championship was held in Helsinki (Finland) in 2000. The first World Champion became the team "Campuksen Koonto" (Finland).
Team "Olarin Voimistelijat/Dynamot/Deltat" (Finland) - The World Champion in AGG in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009.
